Definition of spiritual healing and the spiritual healer The spiritual healer is a channel for the inflow of universal energy, the source of which can be interpreted by individuals according to their own spiritual beliefs. Spiritual healing is holistically safe and non-invasive. It is Universal energy that can be channelled by individuals who have the ability, which has been enhanced by training, to attune them to this energy. Contact healing- often referred to as the lying on of hands on the body or a little distance from the body, as the energy is channelled to the patient/client. The patient/client will be asked to sit on a chair, or some healers may use a couch to give the healing, in either event the patient/client will NOT be required to remove items of clothing, apart from a topcoat and shoes. All qualified healers work to a very strict code of conduct and practice and are covered by insurance. Absent or distant healing- through the process of attunment, the healer directs the energy to the person who is to receive the healing, this may also be interpreted as prayer. Spiritual healing does not intrude on any individuals belief system.
